3. Indian Cost Guard [ICG]:














To work as an employee in the ICG is such a prestigious thing that any one like to dream about. You can gain privilege as well as you can be very well respected by the general public if you serve in a high post in the ICG. A bachelor’s degree with minimum marks of above sixty is needed in critical subjects of math and science to serve in this ICG positions. The demand of pilots is growing day by day here. The officers are appointed in the ICG in any one of four branches namely, the General Duty officer who are assigned some of the operational tasks like the command of weapons systems, crews and vessels, navigation systems etc; they are selected as the pilot officers to serve in the air wing of the ICG; technical officer to operate the advanced technology and also to command the maintenance wings, these technical officers must have a engineering degree to get selected; last but not the least law officers key responsibility is to act as the legal advisers to their relevant commanders. The pay for these professionals is also awesome depending upon the positions they handle.

2. NTPC:












If you are a B.Tech pass out you can expect a job at NTPC [National Thermal Power Corporation], which is considered to be the largest Indian state-owned electric utilities company that is based in New Delhi. As per the 2011 Forbes Global 2000 ranking, this company has been ranked 348th in the world. This public sector firm is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. At present, there are around 26,000 employees working in this firm. Every year NTPC use to select its candidates through the ET test and around 1, 50,000 students use to take that examination in which only 500-600 candidates were getting selected. But from this present year, the firm has started considering the GATE examination rankings for the position of Executive Trainees along with other PSUs namely the BHEL, IOCL. As mentioned on Wikipedia, 40 percent of the Mechanical engineers have a chance of getting recruited, 25 percent of electrical engineers, 10 percent of instrumentation engineers, 10 percent of civil engineers, 15 percent of HR and Finance management professionals have a chance of getting selected. The company also has the culture of campus recruitment that started from 2010.


1. IAS Officer:














This profession demands a lot from you to get selected as an IAS officer; you need to work hard to be an IAS officer because this IAS examination is considered to be the toughest of all the examinations in India. If you get through this profession, you are eligible to hold key positions in the Central government, State Governments and also in the public sector undertakings. IAS is one among the three All India Services. The rest of the other services include, Indian Police Service and Indian Forest Service. The IAS examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission that has three stages of recruitment namely, preliminary, mains and finally interviewing process. If you are unable to clear the examination at the first attempt, for General merit candidates have permission to take up the examination for fourmore times, and for the OBC candidates they are allowed up to seven more times to take the examination. You can be paid a good amount in this profession may be more than any other positions in the government job category.
